The Blade Systems Alliance
The Blade Systems Alliance (BladeS) is an independent, non-profit organization of blade systems users, manufacturers, software suppliers, system integrators, and other interested parties established to serve as a clearinghouse for information about blade systems, provide a focus for extending and improving standards, and promote their use in enterprise applications. We are a forum for end users, analysts, consultants, and vendors who are interested in the deployment and application of blade systems.
The Alliance mission is to advance the adoption of modular and blade-based computing systems. In cooperation with the worldwide community of data center professionals and other advanced systems users, the Blade Systems Alliance promotes multi-vendor standards for modular systems management and racking, works with the user community to address real-world data center and advanced computing issues and delivers information, programs and forums to educate and inform.
You can find our latest on-line edition of the Blade Systems Alliance newsletter at http://www.bladesystems.org/bladeletter/index.aspx.
You can get membership information for the Blade Systems Alliance Council of End-users at http://www.bladesystems.org/usergroup.aspx. End-user members participate, either as an active or corresponding member, in a proactive dialogue on the future of the Data Center and in particular the evolution of modular computing and blade-based computing systems. Membership is complimentary and entitles them to a subscription to the BladeLetter, the quarterly newsletter.
