I'm so glad you have visited this page. It gives me the opportunity to thank you for reading Effective Government In Action and to ask for your input.

A regular feature in upcoming issues of Effective Government In Action will be to honor and profile honor public sector organizations who have demonstrated excellence in the advancement of Innovation and Best Practices to achieve their mission.

We want public sector personnel or their industry partners to tell us about outstanding efforts either over a number of years (e.g. an ongoing program) or for a single accomplishment over the past year.

Tell us about accomplishments that:

  • Use innovative methods, products, services or technologies to solve current or long-standing problems and increase performance.
  • Develop or use Best Practices to improve performance and efficiency of government operations.
  • Advance the implementation of innovative processes that provide government services to citizens, other government and business.

    • Summarize your plan, strategies to be employed and resources needed and gathered.
  • Tactical Implementation
    • Explain how the plan was implemented in the terms of people, processes and technology (if used).
  • Outcome (Benefit)
    • Present the outcome and the benefits that citizens, other government agencies or business partners now enjoy.
